The Frozen to Frost is inspired by the icy, natural blossoms on windows that often decorate our windows in the winter months. The object deals with a technique - icing glass - that is commonly used on plate glass. I used this technique in an unconventional way on an oval shape, specially designed to make the decor stand out as much as possible. I experimented with classic decors and managed to incorporate new ingredients and techniques to create decors that are unusual and unique. As each type of decor has to be treated individually, prices vary.

Each of the hand-blown black-crystal LUMA vases was created by combining solid glass with copper fibres. The fascination with the glow in the dark is the basic inspiration for this project. The copper contained during the process at the smelter unpredictably deforms the shape and thus creates a specific optical impression.

Eversium, a loose variation on the Latin term eversio, harbors several semantic clues pointing to the concepts of overthrow, destruction, extinction, or revolution. Extinction is a very important phenomenon in terms of the global perspective of geological time because it opens up the possibility of new species expansions. Some variations of extinction have occurred continuously in the history of the Earth, while those changing global conditions have occurred about thirty times during the evolution of life. One evolutionary theory is based on the hypothesis that if an asteroid of gigantic proportions had not struck the Earth in the Mesozoic, we mammals would not have had the opportunity to evolve because the biosphere at that time was dominated by lizards. From a geological point of view, not much time has passed since then, although the climate on our planet has begun to change radically. However, the reason for this change is not external intervention from outer space, or unnatural climate change, but the result of the overpopulation of a certain class of mammals — humans.
NAVA BLUE
NAVA's structural glass vases respond to the disruption of ecosystem balance by invasive species. The objects are blown into three-piece ceramic moulds and the ejichstructures are embossed using an iris technique.

CHRONO
Glass clocks react to their environment by oxidizing their surface. Together with the rapidly changing climate around us, the surface of the object registers changes that are gradually inscribed in its structure. The clock shows the time remaining for our civilisation before we cross the "tipping point" by disturbing the natural environment, leading to the uninhabitability of our planet and the massive extinction of the species. So far aestheticising elements such as polished mirrors or cast glass represent irreparable damage to the natural environment caused by our seemingly untouchable civilisation.

LAVA
The red LAVA vases are a combination of two layers of glass and copper wire. It is the flowing through the sculpted wire that gives the shape that dynamic look. The LAVA vases are based on the eventuality of extinction caused by a natural disaster. The appearance of the object springs from a volcanic eruption, referring to the folly of the inhabitants of the city of Pompeii, who unwisely built near the volcano.

KAIRO
The fossilized "fossils" on the ovoid shapes are supposed to represent unidentifiable artifacts of those lost Civilizations extinguished by the sudden change associated with the loss of their natural environment. I have deliberately generalized the shape as much as possible to a pebble worn by time and added to it the aforementioned "fossilized" structures that preserved an already quite obscure long lost epoch.

TRITO
Glass opaline vases with distinctive bubbles remind with their shapes and dynamics the waves of the seas and oceans. The foamy surface of the vases alludes to the dead zones in the world's oceans caused by unregulated chemical waste discharges. Along the lengths of affected beaches, extensive foam formations are forming, making life impossible.

Cooperation with Vlastimil Šenkýř. The link between Anna Jožová and Vlastimil Šenkýř is the desire to explore and push the material and shaping possibilities of glass. In her new collection of vases and lamps Kombo, she develops experimental techniques typical of her work. The morphology is based on the stylization and abstraction of the female and male figure, which complement each other, just like this artist duo.

The NAVA vases are the first pieces produced using a special press-blown glass technique. The three-piece mould is made of a special material that resists high temperatures and thus allows the creation of original collections of up to 20 pieces. The disparate embossed surfaces of the vases are taken from the details of natural objects. The structural objects respond to the disturbance of the original natural environment by invasive species.

Porcelain vases with volcanic sand and transparent glaze. Cracks, rising and receding layers, dunes. The semester assignment "Unbridled Nature" I worked with a new method and thus continued my long-term experimentation with unusual technologies. The vases respond to the current environmental crisis. I have incorporated into their layers material that will probably soon disappear due to adverse influences.

Each of manually blown crystal vases is created from recycled glass sherds of various colours, forms and dimensions. Thanks to an original affiliation of various sherds and the glowing glass, there is created a special material tension not only shown in final decors, but also in a delicatelyand softly processed structure of the surface.
